Friends is The Bolshoi's 1986 debut album. They were a London-based band active mostly in the mid 80s. They release four studio albums together, and Friends comprises ten tracks produced by Mick Glossop, including "A Way", "Books On The Bonfire" and many live favorites. Melody Maker said "The Bolshoi's strength lies not only in the clever use of knobs and strings and keys and thigs, the juxtaposition of profanity and purity, innocence and lies, but also in the dank, darkly secret passages of their will."
